DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the planning, organisation and implementation of a planned preventative maintenance programme.
Inspection, installation, levelling and alignment of all new plant and equipment.
Perform unscheduled, preventative and predictive maintenance on complex equipment and systems.
Trouble shoot, maintain, repair or replace pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and mechanical equipment.
Trouble shoot, maintain, repair or replace inverters, spindle drives, drive motors, clutches and bearings.
Trouble shoot, maintain and repair CNC controls, and PLC Systems.
Reassemble and test in accordance with all approved OEM / OES work and test procedures.
Ensure that all work activities are carried out in an efficient, professional and tidy manner.
Regular progress updates and report any new findings or issues that may impact on completion date.
Maintain a high standard of personnel / workshop / equipment / machines and tooling cleanliness.
Accurately record repairs, time, parts and materials in the computerised maintenance management system.
Comply with all company QHSE policies, practices and procedures.
Contribute to the team ethic and perform other reasonable duties as required in support of the business.
Maybe required to work off site in support of business activities.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Time served in a electrical/mechanical engineering discipline ideally with forklift certification. Must have a minimum of 4 years experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems root cause analysis diagnostics and repair, tool testing, PLC trouble shooting, programming, variable speed spindle/servo drives and other plant and equipment.

1. Manages the definition of the commissioning scope in the EPCI ITT scope(s) of work, key milestones and reviewing/validating the "commissioning" subcontractor AVL; manages the evaluation of the EPCI tenderers' proposals; responsible for ensuring that the objectives, for the commissioning of the NFE Offshore platforms and pipelines, are safely met as per applicable quality standards and within the approved budget and schedule. 2. Development of the preparation and the execution strategies and plans for pre-commissioning, commissioning, completion and hand-over to Operations for the Topsides and Pipelines of NFE Offshore; provide input into owners cost and budget for execution phase of EPCI 3. Management of the EPCI ITT scope of work for the preparation and the execution of the pre-commissioning and commissioning including the definition of the Commissioning Management System (CMS) and software; including preparation of specification for ITT evaluation of EPCI Contractors prequalification response and ITT proposals, preparation and identification of systems for execution phase, recommendation to award and preparation of the Offshore commissioning "Road Map". 4. Responsible with his onshore counterpart to define onshore and offshore pre-commissioning/commissioning interfaces and integration. 6. Review, validation and/or selection of "commissioning" subcontractors in AVL. 7. Review FEED Contractor documentation related to commissioning, participate in FEED workshops; ensure best practice commissioning considerations and methods are delivered to the project for FEED and related activities, including 'Flawless Start-up' principles. 8. Principal Accountabilities

As a member of the Aircraft Deliveries & Supplier Quality Team, you are expected to oversee the build and quality assembly,including the delivery process of new required IFE system as per scope of company granted Authorizations a member of the Aircraft Deliveries & Supplier Quality Team. Operational
To supervise a team of technical assistants which would be responsible for the final release of IFE products by the Supplier Quality Engineer - Level I (IFE).
Perform all new supplier products' Source Inspections (SI) related to In-Flight Entertainment systems prior delivery to Qatar Airways or designated MRO's to make sure the products is as per the specification and free of any quality manufacturing defects.
Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product quality and verify the implementation of the solution.
Work with Vendor & Contract performance section to monitor the supplier KPl's and to ensure supplier performance is regularly reported and that appropriate and timely corrective actions are implemented.
Participate in the establishment of In-Flight Entertainment system supplier performance metrics.
Identify program related issues of In-Flight Entertainment and cabin systems' and liaise technical concerns to respective Qatar Airways department in order to place a solution on a timely manner
All manufacturer's published technical documents relating to open supplier concerns are reviewed and validated during factory inspection of supplier product ensuring items that affect the fleet operation are highlighted to responsible Aircraft Deliveries section for contractual resolution
