An opportunity exists for an experienced and results driven individual to move into the role of Business Development Representative based in Flemington. Reporting into the Sales Manager you will be responsible for increasing sales and marketing of Top products by servicing existing customers as well as sourcing potential customers to increase market share and profitability in your territory.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Actively canvassing defined market segments for new business and achieving new client targets
- Managing a defined customer base for sales of product and service of customers
- Continually seeking and identifying opportunities to sell in extra products to your client base
- Providing technical support to your clients in the form of product specifications, menu advice and service arrangements
- Conducting regular customer pricing reviews and quarterly business reviews with major clients
- Reacting promptly to customer complaints and ensuring appropriate corrective action is taken
To be successful in this role you will have an extensive background in Foodservice with knowledge and experience in meat products preferred but not essential. You will need to be highly organised with excellent time management skills, be able to work autonomously and be driven to achieve sales targets. You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong and long lasting relationships with new and existing customers. salary 45 K USD plus commission

This will make up about 30% of your overall role. You will be targeting the specialised dealer networks in your territory, so any experience would be held in high regard.
You will be well driven and enthusiastic. You will have a sound knowledge of the market or the product, both would be perfect. We will look at someone with a technical background in HVAC if they have a true desire to get into sales and the desire and to be successful.
On offer for the successful candidate is a base wage between $60 - $70 k base + super + fully maintained car and a commission structure. Plus on top of that there is an annual bonus structure for the top three performers.
