Select, develop, and coach professional salespeople in order to meet and exceed specific goals to ensure profitable revenue and overall business growth Develop competencies and processes required to create an effective and efficient sales team program Provide leadership through effective communication by active coaching/training, ensure that sales goals are met and take appropriate action to correct performance when goals are not met Implement the company’s sales processes in correlation with the CRM and Marketing teams to ensure that Branding, Marketing, and Customer Service objectives are being met Cultivate and maintain effective business prospects and develop relationships to further the growth of the organization Encourage and manage high level teaming and collaboration efforts to gain the commitment and involvement of company staff that are not directly related to sales Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers. Function as customer service advocate and primary sales contact by complete follow up on initial contacts, quotes, demonstrations, negotiate and close deals Provide sales management, budget preparation and control, compensation programs and incentive plans Work with key departments such as Marketing, CRM, Credit and Collections, and Finance to ensure key business functions, are developed and maintained and issues are addressed and corrected timely and efficiently Responsible for analyzing and understanding industry market trends, competition, products, and pricing that may impact sales efforts and adjust strategies to ensure that the dealership is competitive and profitable Understand how to communicate value propositions to key accounts and be able be able to present and close new business Skills Strong leadership skills and management skills Ability to oversee multiple projects adapting to changing priorities as necessary Excellent communication and interpersonal and relationship building skills with a proven track record of managing, collaborating with, and influencing stakeholders at senior level.
