Provide support and co-ordinate with Senior Architect on all Architectural works related construction/design drawing related issues during the course of projects as and when required. Maintain an overview of entire project progress, quality control and safety review on general construction practices accepted by standard code of practices, while continuing to attend to all technicalities review related to the project. Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities: • Performs engineering design tasks for master planning and roadway projects from preliminary stage to final design. • Develops plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports and prepares final bid packages. • Establishes working relationships and networks with client technical staff and project managers. • Provides engineering design services on traditional design-bid-build projects and design-build highway projects. • Manages and mentors’ junior engineers on project assignments • Organizes meetings between design staff, subcontractors and client managers to coordinate design activities. • Coordinates the planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management and quality control of subcontractors and internal technical & support staff. • Highly participates in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost and scheduling performance. • Projects Quality Assurance and Quality Controls. • Assists project managers with other various tasks when required. • Displays significant proficiency in the design of local roads, highways as per QHDM and other acceptable international standards.
