Currently, our Systems & Solutions business is seeking to engage an experienced Qatar based Project Pursuit Manager to lead identified project pursuits across our Northern Region which includes, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq and Jordan. What will be my responsibilities in this role? • To ensure full compliance to Emerson Values, Ethics and Trade Compliance Policies • To take end-to-end ownership of the technical bid on assigned pursuits • To take the lead in commercial negotiations including legal terms and conditions • To track mega projects in the region using CRM tools • To engage early on assigned strategic projects to get Process Systems & Solutions (PSS) including Remote Automation Solutions (RAS) and Reliability Solutions specified in the scope of the project • To identify, map and build strong relations with the key stake holders on assigned pursuits • To establish a clear understanding of business drivers and project scope • To develop and implement compelling strategies to position Emerson as a preferred supplier • To liaise and support other World Areas on Destination projects. • To coordinate with MEA Regional Sales & Account Teams on Entity projects • To collaborate and support Global Strategic Project pursuits and lead cross business unit (XBU) pursuits, wherever needed • To provide a detailed project pricing analysis and participate in delegation of authority (DOA) calls with senior management • To maintain an accurate project funnel and provide periodic Project Pursuit Reviews to senior management • To stay ahead of the developments in the competitive landscape and provide timely competitive analysis • To leverage the "One Emerson" methodology by coordinating across multiple Emerson business units to solve customer challenges and enhance value and loyalty through the introduction of Emerson Corporate programs. (e.g. Operation Certainty, Perfect execution & Plantweb Optics)
