Job Purpose: The primary function of the Site Coordinator is to support the Retail Delivery Team to administer the terms and conditions of a Tenant’s Agreement for lease; facilitating design as per the Design Criteria Manual, construction as per the Fit-Out Guide and compliance with local authorities Primary Objectives: 1. Completes site specific duties that support the timely handover of units 1.1 Conducts Space acceptance prior to the fit-out phase to inspect the obligations of the landlord provided unit, including the MEP services 1.2 Ensure that the Base Building contractor rectifies defects prior to handover to tenant 1.3 Completes on site measurements of units against Lease Outline Drawings 2. Assists the Retail Delivery Manager to facilitate all aspects of the Retail Delivery Programme to achieve on-time completion of allocated units 2.1 Familiarizes themselves with the site and site access during the development phase and maintains awareness of BOH corridors, exits and general site logistics 2.2 Escorts members of the Landlord’s and Tenant’s team during site visits and ensures availability of personal protective equipment and adherence to site safety regulations 2.3 Builds a relationship with key site personnel; knowledge of supervisors for mall contractors and their contact details e.g. electrical contractor, FF contractor. 2.4 Monitors each unit for the availability of approved construction drawings and permits 2.5 Share important incidents that may have occurred on site with the remainder of the team 3. Actively monitors the Fit Out process on behalf of the Retail Delivery Manager to eliminate possible opportunities for delay whilst monitoring that all aspects of the build are compliant with required approvals 3.1 Maintains a site presence in view of the Tenant’s Contractor to observe and understand ongoing site activities. 3.2 Maintains a good relationship with tenant contractors and avoids unnecessary conflict or contact with them, report to related RDM if any. 3.3 Maintains a basic knowledge of store designs to ensure that no conflicts occur between the fit out and the development guidelines 3.4 Completes any pressure test readings, completing all relevant paperwork and providing documentation as instructed by the relevant RDM 3.5 Demonstrates knowledge of the service connection process, chilled water, sprinklers etc. 3.6 Monitors health and safety standards within the Tenant units.
