Description : The Quality Engineer's responsibilities include designing quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, developing quality control systems, and determining corrective actions.
Quality Engineer Responsibilities:
· Ensuring that the activities required for the effective operation of the quality management system are planned, implemented, controlled and their progress monitored.
· Reporting quality activities to the Project Manager and General Manager.
· Issuing monthly QA/QC report within the first week of the following month.
· Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
· Collaborating with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements.
· Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations.
· Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues.
· Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and Measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
· Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
· Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
· Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
· Conducting In-House Test, Preparing MIX-Designs, Preparing MIR documents for material.
· Review the production Drawings before the drawing is forwarded to for production.
· Preparing IR Documents for respective material after installation on site.
· Responsible of assuring the Quality of Finished Products and Installation up to the standard
· Keeping the record of the NCR and Corrective Actions
Quality Engineer Requirements:
· Degree in quality, industrial, or mechanical engineering.
· 2 plus years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role.
· Knowledge of the current trends and latest advancements in GRC, GRP & GRG
· Knowledge of production and testing.
· Knowledge of the international standards used in the GRC and GRP (like PCI, ASTM , GRCA, NPCAA)
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
